As Felix Event Management celebrates its fifth anniversary, it presents new ideas and great special offers!

In today's issue, we inform you about some Swiss Railways products; it is about the Red Arrow, the Orient-Express and the conference carriages. Being a Swiss company we should like to mention and/or remind you of some typical Swiss items.

One can attach the two nostalgic cars on most regular train lines; the Orient Express Wagons (Salon Bleu and Rubis Noir), each have a capacity of 48 seats, with tables of 2 or 4 persons for an elegant dinner. You may use it from the Geneva or Zurich airport train station to your destination or for an excursion - you determine the route.

The Red Arrow, also known as Churchill Express, is a separate train, which can be used on the entire Swiss railway network. It offers 100 seats, but we recommend not using it for more than 80 or 90 people, because some seats serve as storage space, especially if you are planing a meal on this train.

In the carriage 100 you have a capacity for 24 people for a conference and in the wagon 101 for 32 persons. Both cars can be attached to most train configurations and your conference could start right away at Geneva or Zurich airport train station. A beamer, screen, micro are standard equipment in both carriages, which are fully air conditioned and offer the possibility for a snack meal.

For all new – up to 30 September confirmed orders - we shall show our gratitude to you with a special anniversary discount. For further information contact Felix Schai on info@felixevents.ch

Did you know that Romania is home to more than 50% of Europe’s brown bears? Premier Destinations, our member there, tells us more.

Surrounded by the Carpathian Mountains, the mystical land of Transylvania offers nearly 100,000 square kilometres of alpine meadows and peaks, medieval towns and fortresses.

Home of Dracula and legendary castles, Transylvania also hosts over 6.000 brown bears, one of the largest and most fascinating species of omnivores.

Romania’s fauna is incredibly rich and varied, boasting some rare species on the continent. Chamois, brown bears, Carpathian deer, wolves and lynx populate the mountains, while hares, foxes, wild boars and partridges are typical of the hills and plains.

Bears have been part of the Romanian traditions since ancient times and even nowadays, for New Year, people dressed as bears visit houses, dancing to ward off evil.

In a more modern approach Romania was the place where the acclaimed explorer Bear Grylls has met the Romanian Bear in an episode of Ultimate Survival broadcasted on the Discovery Channel.
